What is IIT on da Cloud?

The student organization, ITMO (Information Technology and Management Organization), is proud to present a 4 day event where students can learn about cloud computing, build the infrastructure of a private cloud, and create applications that can run on it. Recently, cloud computing has been used as a popular marketing term to attract its target market, which has led to several misconceptions. Our goal is to help educate students about cloud computing and give them hands-on experience using this technology.

Learn about cloud computing and find out how other companies are using the cloud in their environment.

Build It!

Get experience building the infrastructure of a private cloud using eucalyptus.

Create It!

Start creating applications that can be used on the cloud. Test your skills by trying to create a Dropbox or Flickr application.
